Laura Riedner
Laura is a counsel at our firm. She specialises in international commercial arbitration and complex cross-border disputes, with a particular focus on post-M&A, joint venture, and supply chain disputes. She has represented clients across a range of sectors, including chemicals, life sciences, financial services, and energy.
Prior to joining 7SA in 2026, Laura spent five years in the dispute resolution practice of a leading international law firm, acting in both arbitrations and commercial litigation.
Laura studied law at the University of Passau and completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich, with placements at the General Court of the European Union and with a law firm specialising in civil litigation before the German Federal Court of Justice. Laura holds an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Cape Town. Prior to entering private practice, she worked as a legal researcher at the Supreme Court of Seychelles and with Lawyers for Human Rights in South Africa.
